Harri's Best of 2009: Art E. Mix!

Harri is me, by the way. This has been a great year for music, I think. These are 18 tracks from all but two of my favorite albums (or maybe from singles or something) this year. I left off Roman Soldiers and Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti because the former was redundant and the second was kind of a "greatest hits" album but not really so whatever. But I love them all the same.

01 - Thee Oh Sees - Tidal Wave (3:43)
02 - Here We Go Magic - Fangela (5:30)
03 - Fresh & Onlys - Feelings in My Heart (2:53)
04 - Broadcast & The Focus Group - I see, So I see So (2:08)
05 - Gary War - Clean Up (4:00)
06 - The Mantles - Don't Lie (3:42)
07 - Ganglians - Lost Words (4:17)
08 - FRAET - Another Way To Answer (4:08)
09 - Tonstartssbandht - Black Country (3:29)
10 - Atlas Sound - Sheila (3:32)
11 - Tim Hecker - Pond Life (1:24)
12 - Gnonnas Pedro Et Ses Panchos - Okpo Videa Bassouo (3:30)
13 - Blank Dogs - Slowing Down (3:11)
14 - Matthew Dear & Seth Troxler - Hurt (6:06)
15 - Crystal Stilts - Love Is A Wave (2:01)
16 - Neon Indian - Psychic Chasms (4:05)
17 - TeePee - Purgatory (2:18)
18 - Kings of Convenience - Riot On Empty Street (3:58)

A streamable version and date for a listening party will be up when I can get those kinds of things sorted out.

Hope you enjoy! (if you do, drop me a note)

Call For End Of Year Lists!

Regarding your Best Of 2009 album lists, I'm going to post whatever people give me in one long post on, uhh... December 19th. The release just has to be from this year (can be a repackaging/rerelease or anything with a 2009 date), and the list can be from five to fifty.

So, whatever lists I've gotten by then will be posted (with comments if you want), and there they shall be for all internet eternity.

If I don't know you from the RHMB, feel free to post your lists in the comments that day! Or maybe if you trick me into thinking I know you, I will post your lists with my friends'. If you are an enemy I will also post your list, because you're supposed to keep your enemies close (to take revenge at arm's length.)
