RHMB Communal Lyrics Mix!

"Music is meaningful."
Lyrics are serious business. Because of this, I usually don't pay much attention to them. "Argh! Your mouth sounds are getting in the way of the synthesizers and static", I say. But ok, I can stop being a hater for a minute and listen to some music with clever, earnest, even narrative lyrics, about people and ideas and... stuff. Since I don't have much experience in this sort of thing I begged the good people at the RHMB to help me out, and this is the collection they came up with. Thanks, folks! Harri v. Grolsch: [Mostly] 2011 So Far Mix!

As you can tell from both the title and the picture, there is a little combativeness going on in this mix. Most of you are aware of the bitter, bitter relationship between Grolsch and I. He's wrong about things (like thinking "documentaries" aren't really "movies") and I hold silent grudges against him for this (that last for years). See? Bitter. But hey, he was like "why don't we make a mix together?" and I saw this for the opportunity to exploit that it is! So the first eight tracks are from me, some of my harsher more Mudd E. Production favorites of this year, and then 9-18 are pure Grolsch picks, full of things like "melody" and "understandable lyrics" that the editorial staff of this blog has historically shunned. What I'm trying to say is that Grolsch is good people. ♥ Now for the music:
